Gautam Arora, P.E. Civil
CEO & FounderGautam is president and chief executive officer of Biogas Engineering Inc. with the expertise in engineering design, construction, commissioning and operation of biogas utilization facilities. He has worked on multiple high BTU, medium BTU and low BTU projects. With 12 years experience in landfill gas (LFG), digester gas (DG), waste organic processing and methane mitigation fields, Gautam has successfully designed, installed and operated several different types of biogas (LFG and DG) utilization facilities. His roles and responsibilities include coordination with municipalities, regional and state air quality and water quality regulatory agencies to acquire project permits; project design, construction management, commissioning and operations of these facilities.
Ryan Rueve, P. Eng(Mechanical), PMP
Operations ManagerRyan is a trained mechanical engineer and is the Operations Manager for Biogas Engineering. He began his career in the oil and gas industry, working in Canada, Middle East and the USA. Prior to joining Biogas Engineering he held the role of Operations Manager within the Gulf of Mexico for his previous employer. Ryan’s career focused on the upstream segment of the oil and gas industry, including time spent in the production and operations, reservoir development, and drilling. Ryan’s experience in partner relations, field operations, project delivery, and economic evaluations is a great asset for Biogas Engineering and their clients in delivering successful projects through thorough analysis and effective communications between all parties. Ryan has his PMP designation and is a registered professional engineer in Canada.
Arnold Ramirez, P.E. Chemical
Chemical EngineerMr. Ramirez is a registered chemical engineer with 15 years of industry experience in LFG processing plant O&M, LFG to energy facility operations, construction management and supervision, CQA and process engineering design. Mr. Ramirez is responsible for process design for the biogas treatment projects and will serves as a project manager on variety of different projects.
Ted Wheeler, P.E. Mechanical
Sr. Technical Advisor
Mr. Wheeler is a registered mechanical engineer with 37 years of industry experience as a lead engineer and Project Manager. Mr. Wheeler has strong engineering and project management skills in turnkey Design-Build-Operate projects in Biogas Utilization, Cogeneration and Air Pollution Control. He has over 35 years of experience in industrial process projects and manufacturing of custom engineered equipment. His recent projects include a biogas to RNG processing plant and pipeline interconnection, cogeneration for a university central plant and landfill biogas to electrical power with steam generation and distribution. He will serve the role of technical director on RNG projects.
William Gomez

Mr. Gomez is Senior Instrument & Controls Engineer II and Project Manager with over 30 years of industry experience in the management and execution of various engineering projects. Industry experience includes natural gas plants, oil & gas pipelines, oil refineries, gas terminals, petrochemical plants, steel mills, power plants, medical, and food & beverage.
Kranti V. Kumar
Senior Controls EngineerMr. Kumar is Senior controls engineer with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. Mr. Kumari has over 11 years of experience in controls and automation industry. Mr. Kumar has a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment and how to integrate these equipment together and control them using a master control panel. He is the lead controls engineer at Biogas Engineering and is responsible providing controls engineering, automation, PLC programming, SCADA design, installation and commissioning support services on our projects.
